Started
by Eric Fleet and Leigh Ivan in 2005, the purpose of Threads for Thought
is to create a fashion brand of clothing designed to promote change.
Inspired to action by three major causes—Africa, the environment
and world peace—Threads for Thought uses only 100% organic cotton
and eco-friendly fabrics to articulate its platform. The prints don’t
hit you over the head with the cause, they are more like political
cartoons with an editorial wit.
Threads for Thought donates portions of its annual sales to charitable
partners including the International Rescue Committee and The Natural
Resources Defense Council. |
